Transitlog Entry Exit Document Renewal
Rudder Yachting and Ship Agency handles entry into the country, departure from the country, and document renewal procedures on your behalf for foreign-flagged private vessels and foreign-flagged commercial vessels.
The validity period of Transitlog documents for foreign-flagged vessels in our country is one year.
Foreign-flagged vessels may remain in Turkey for up to five years, provided they hold valid Transitlog documents (Sailing Permit, Yacht Registration Certificate, Temporary Import Certificate), which must be renewed annually.
For foreign flagged vessels undergoing document renewal and entry procedures; A lighthouse fee is charged for vessels over 30 net tons. Lighthouse fees can be accessed via the General Directorate of Coastal Safety website.
It is important that all necessary documents for foreign-flagged vessels to navigate smoothly in Turkey are obtained and kept on board at all times.
Documents required for the smooth completion of the Transitlog procedure on foreign-flagged private vessels:
-Current Certificate of Registration (Original)
-Current Insurance Policy
-Company Incorporation Documents (Legal Entity)
-Captain Appointment Certificate (Original)
-Old Transit Logs
-Fixed Assets List
-Yacht Crew Qualification Certificates
If foreign-flagged vessels are registered to individuals rather than legal entities, vessel owners who do not reside abroad and do not spend more than half of the year abroad cannot enter the country or renew their documents.
On Commercial Vessels Flying a Foreign Flag;
Under the third paragraph added to Article 29 of the Tourism Incentive Law No. 2634, By the approval of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism dated 03.01.2025 and numbered 6165047; the shares to be collected for social and technical infrastructure services in 2025 from foreign-flagged commercial yachts over 39 meters requesting permission from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to operate for tourism purposes in Turkish territorial waters;
For every 30 days;
Yachts ranging from 39 to 60 meters in length: 1,800,000 TL
Yachts ranging from 60 to 80 meters in length: 2,600,000 TL
Yachts over 80 meters in length: 5,200,000 TL
Every 10 days;
Yachts ranging from 39 to 60 meters in length: 900,000 TL
Yachts ranging from 60 to 80 meters in length: 1,300,000 TL
Yachts over 80 meters in length: 2,600,000 TL
It has been determined.
For multi-owner yachts with more than four owners requesting a navigation permit, and for foreign-flagged yachts belonging to clubs, associations, and unions, an additional fee of 80 euros per meter in length shall be charged in addition to the navigation permit fee, as required by the second paragraph of Article 47 of the Regulation.
For foreign-flagged commercial yachts arriving with passengers from abroad, an additional fee of 40 euros per meter in length is charged in addition to the navigation permit fee, as required by the fourth paragraph of Article 47 of the Regulation.
According to paragraph (9) of the section titled “II Port Operations:” in Schedule (7) of the General Circular on the Fees Law published in the Official Gazette No. 32768, the 2025 Fees to be collected from foreign-flagged commercial yachts over 39 meters in length are as follows:
– Yachts ranging from 39 to 60 meters in length: 2,077,484.60 TL
– Yachts ranging from 60 to 80 meters in length: 3,116,226.80 TL
– For yachts over 80 meters in length: 4,154,969.30 TL,
