• Petition: The petition must include a summary of the work to be performed, the name of the signatory, their capacity as signatory, the donor's residential address, Turkish ID number, location information of the vessel, and contact telephone number. It is submitted to the Port Authority where the transaction will be carried out by the donor or their representative.
• Name Application and Appointment: Access the website of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure at https://umurbey.uab.gov.tr/Vatandas/Login and log in to the system. The approval process will then proceed at the relevant Port Authority/Ship Registry Office.
• Power of Attorney: Required for transactions conducted by the principal's representative(s).
• Original Boat Construction/Repair Invoice: Required for new registrations and repairs.
• Original Machine Invoice: Required for new registrations and machine modifications. For machines placed on the market after January 1, 2008, on boats covered by the Pleasure Craft Regulation, and for all machines to be installed after December 31, 2011, a CE Conformity Certificate is required.
• Boat photos: 3 photos – taken separately from the bow and stern, showing the name of the vessel and port of registry clearly legible. In addition, photos of the hull serial number and engine serial number must be submitted to the Port Authority during the initial registration process.
• The registration log is a document that shows the registration fee has been paid. Registration fees are determined annually, and license renewal procedures must be completed before the visa period. The registration fees for 2025 are as follows.
